Ingeteam has just completed the development of its new INGEREV CITY Duo charging station. The key new feature is that two electric vehicles can be charged at the same station at the same time in modes 1, 2 or 3 of the IEC 61851 standard.
Furthermore, single and three phase models are available, with power outputs ranging from 7.4 to 22 kW, making it possible to fully charge an electric vehicle in one to six hours, depending on the vehicle model.
The INGEREV CITY Duo is equipped with a robust cable retention and locking system to prevent removal by unauthorized users. Furthermore, this charging station is equipped with a battery to provide it with a minimum autonomy of one hour in the event of a power failure.
The new charger was recently displayed at the “VEM 2015 – Enjoy Madrid in an Electric Vehicle” held at the Plaza Colón square in Madrid on April 11 and 12, and event organized by the City Council of Madrid that seeks to promote zero emission mobility.
