The original equipment manufacturers from the continent are interested in Type III CNG cylinders by Worthington Industries, which are getting popularity due to its features, such as seamless aluminum liner, superior impact and heat tolerance, no filling restrictions in hot or cold weather, superior fast filling efficiency, and inherent leak before burst fatigue failure mode.
Worthington Cylinders Poland composite facility has recently announced two important additions to its extensive OEM customers’ portfolio:
– MAN Truck TGM 18-tonner driven by a six-cylinder gas engine with 280 hp from 6.9 l displacement equipped with a 12-speed MAN TipMatic gearbox and eight CNG Type III cylinders.
– MULAG Comet 4 CNG airplane towing tractor driven by a six-cylinder 88 hp from 3.6 l CNG-engine equipped with four CNG Type III cylinders supplied by Worthington.
