The executive said that the program launched by the company, called “National gas in movement”, is widely supported by local and national authorities, who are interested in the new technology (the organic waste reactor).
Currently, the fuel called “Enerpy Ecogas” powers two vehicles. “The first is an emblematic one -said Barrios Maciel- and the other is being used to show the effectiveness of the fuel.”
Last week, that biomethane vehicle travelled from Paraguay to Buenos Aires, Argentina. It is worth mentioning that the Argentinian company Cidegas provided the cylinder to convert the car.
“Our market has not any experience in using methane or CNG. This is the first time and it was very well received. With this initiative, the country could be self-sufficient of this precious fuel”.
