For the fourth year, the Czech Gas Association continues its most successful tradition of organising international conferences dedicated to the use of compressed natural gas and biomethane for transport in Central and Eastern Europe.
CNG is viewed as the most promising alternative motor fuel over the medium term and features a number of financial, safety and environmental benefits. The use of CNG and biomethane in transport, new views and trends, and NGV manufacturers’ and operators’ experiences are the topics of this Conference. Speakers from Canada, Italy, France, Finland, Poland, Russia, the Czech Republic and other countries will be part of the discussions.
The increasing intensity of traffic has negative impacts on the environment and the rising consumption of liquid oil-based fuels is not sustainable. Central Europe’s transport infrastructure offering a sufficient number of CNG refuelling stations would also support growth in the number of CNG vehicles and provide drivers with greater comfort, easy travel across the various countries, less expensive journeying, and the good feeling of contributing to environmental protection.
NGV Communications Group will take an active part in Czech Gas Association’s 4th International Conference presenting to attendees NGV2011 Berlin, the 2nd NGVA Europe International Show & Workshops to be held on June 7-9, 2011, in Berlin, Germany.
