The second tour will be to one of the biggest CNG fueling stations in the world from Gazel, with an area of 2,900 m2 and later to Gazo’s workhop, where attendees will be able to witness the entire real process of conversion of an automobile operating at high altitude.
The visits will be bilingual (English-Spanish) and a snack will be served to all participants.

Technical Tour 1: Friday Nov 9th, 14 to 18:30

This is why they are pleased to invite all the NGV Global 2012 visitors to participate in a tour through their facilities in Ciudad Sahagún, where you will have the chance to learn about their sustainability-oriented work philosophy, which is reflected in the manufacture of DINA buses. This visit will allow all the guests to know more about the comprehensive production process, during which the chassis and the bodywork are manufactured under the same roof.
The participants will be picked up from Centro Banamex at 14:00 hrs and will be returning to the premises at 18:30.
Technical Tour 2: Saturday Nov 10th, 9:00 to 13:00.
Gazel
Gazel is one of the biggest Natural Gas Vehicle companies in Latin America, established in Colombia in 1986 and expanding to Mexico ten years later. With a professional team and cutting-edge technology, they supply the most modern, efficient and environmentally friendly fuel: Natural Gas for Vehicles.
During the 13th Biennial NGV Global Conference and Exhibition, Gazel will offer a tour through one of the biggest fueling stations in the world, with an area of 2,900 m2. These premises have an installed capacity of 65,000 m3 supply of CNG per day, 6 pumps and 14 nozzles. They also include 3 Ariel compressors and 3 fueling points allowing 12 cars to be fuelled simultaneously.
Gazo
Gazo is a pioneering company in Mexico in the application of Natural Gas Conversion Systems in modern vehicles, thereby contributing to the reduction of environmental pollutants using its 5th generation technology.
Attendees will be able to witness the entire process of conversion of an automobile, through the application of a multi-point and positive pressure electronic sequential injection system. The process is divided into three phases: a) tank installation, b) placement of the Gazo kit and, finally, c) operation and emissions. Performance tests carried out in the laboratory ensure that a 4-cylinder car runs 230 kms on a full fuel CNG tank (17.3 Lts. NGV).
The participants of this technical tour will be picked up from Sheraton Hotel at 09:00 and will be then taken to Centro Banamex at 13:00.
