Gazprom Germania provides the natural gas and refueling through a mobile unit; Solbus offers state-of-the-art LNG-powered city buses; and the municipal transportation companies have the chance to appraise the advantages of natural gas as economically effective and ecologically friendly fuel.
The initial list of host cities includes Torun, Gdynia, Olsztyn, Warsaw and Katowice, and the pilot project aims to demonstrate the cooperation potential in LNG for public transport, a new field of activity for Gazprom.
Furthermore, Gazprom Germania has recently joined Erdgas Mobil to install four natural gas stations in Berlin. It has been also very active part in the development of the Germany’s NGV fueling infrastructure.
