The LNG fuel depot will provide customers with convenient 24-hour access to LNG and related services in the Permian Basin and Surrounding Areas. “We are committed to providing our customers with the most convenient, reliable, and cost effective LNG fuel solutions. This fuel depot will serve our existing West Texas customers and make Stabilis LNG more readily available for new applications,” said Steve Stump, Vice President of Sales at Stabilis Energy.
“This fuel depot signals Stabilis’ commitment to providing reliable and cost effective LNG solutions to the West Texas market,” added Jim Reddinger, President and CFO of Stabilis Energy. “In addition to installing the fuel depot, Stabilis continues evaluate LNG production opportunities in West Texas.”
Moreover, NuBlu Energy announced the opening of Port Allen LNG Liquefaction facility for commercial production in Louisiana. The 30,000 gallons per day facility displays the modularity of the patented NuBlu technology as the current plant design allows for easy expansion up to 90,000 gallons per when the LNG needs increase in the region. The plant, equipped with scales, load out and 100,000 gallons of permanent storage, is strategically located along the Mississippi utilizing high and low-pressure pipelines producing a gallon of LNG at efficiencies competitive with small/medium-scale facilities.
The modularity and scalability of the NuBlu LNG system enables any customer to scale production in line with demand and spread out the capital expenditures. Each major piece of equipment is a modular, skid-mounted design making the plant easily deployable in remote regions or areas not typically suited for these types of projects. This also eliminates the need to build extensive pipeline infrastructure as it is designed to bring the LNG production to the customer.
“This plant lays the foundation for efficient LNG production on a modular level preserving the efficiencies recognized by larger production facilities. This gives the domestic and international community a much smarter and economical solution by Making LNG Local,” said Josh Payne, Vice President, Business Development, NuBlu Energy.
