Disfrimur participates in a European project to analyze the potential of hydrogen fuel cells in the road transport sector. The initiative has the participation of 55 companies from 15 European countries and they all have a single objective in common: promoting sustainable mobility.
The road transport company is joining this study through its program called “invisible transport,” which aims to reduce the carbon footprint through the continuous renewal of the fleet, the incorporation of vehicles that use alternative fuels and the calculation, reduction and offsetting of CO2 emissions.
By joining this European project, Disfrimur will seek to know the viability of the use of hydrogen as an alternative fuel, thus betting on sustainable mobility and promoting its use in zero-emission vehicles.
The study, in addition to analyzing the technical and non-technical barriers to the implementation of hydrogen technology in Europe, will propose to the European Commission the necessary measures to take, as well as the necessary resources.
